TWO Jumu’ah Khutbah

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM MASJID IBRAHIM

Assalamualaikum

Dear Respected Community Members

In light of the recent attacks on the mosques in New Zealand, Masjid Ibrahim has decided to take the following precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the congregants attending Masjid Ibrahim during Friday Prayers:

Paid and Licensed Security Guards will be deployed at the masjid gates during Friday prayers from 12PM to 2PM.

To ensure the safety and prevent attacks on the congregants during prayers – the Masjid gates  (Southern River entrance), (Main masjid Yard gate) and (small side gate) will all be closed at the following times:

Friday prayer session 1
12.30 PM – 1.00 PM
12.40 pm – Arabic khutbah 

**Gates will be closed at 12.45PM**  

Friday prayer session 2

1.20PM – 2.00 PM
English talk : 1.20 PM- 1.35PM
1.35 PM – Arabic Khutbah

**Gates will be closed at 1.40PM**

We humbly request ALL congregants attending Masjid Ibrahim to come ON TIME to avoid any inconvenience and being locked out.

(Please vacate the Masjid as quickly as possible)

Parking: please park your cars in the old Musallah parking, and Community centre across the road.

Time: Iqamah 1.00pm
NO WUDHU facilities available

Harrisdale Pavilion : 83 Gracefield Blvd Harrisdale
Time: 1pm English Talk Iqamah : 1.45pm
Please bring your Prayer Mats.

The new security measures come at a financial cost and in order to ensure that we can adequately implement these measures and improve our safety and safety of Masjid Ibrahim there is a humble appeal to donate generously towards improving the security of Masjid Ibrahim.
